Pennsylvania Midstate Firm Livin’ the Dream! with Popular Online Radio Program
Judith Brown of J Blair Brown Consulting, a boutique PR and marketing firm in midstate PA, hosts Livin' the Dream! a BlogTalkRadio (BTR) online radio program. In recent months, the firm has increased in radio listeners as well as Web site traffic.
Harrisburg, PA, November 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- What began as a half-hearted experiment in vanity has become quite a phenomenon for Harrisburg, PA's J Blair Brown Consulting, a PR and marketing firm.
Owner Judith Brown, host of the BlogTalkRadio’s Livin’ the Dream! radio show, says the show has experienced an increase in listeners over the past few months… and the buzz continues to grow.
“I really didn’t think it would become anything major,” says Brown. “…and didn’t invest much time into the show at all.”
In fact, since registering Livin’ the Dream! with BTR in 2008, Brown has only hosted a handful of radio programs. Then over the past few months, the tides shifted.
“I was working with a client who had just finished his autobiography. Since he needed a media outlet, I decided to have him on my radio show. I had such a great time with it that I decided to schedule shows more frequently – and the word got around as people were beginning to listen in.
“Since September of this year, my audience has steadily gained in popularity, and established professionals are now agreeing to be a part of the show. It’s been quite humbling.”
An increase in listeners has also translated to increased traffic to the firm's Web site.
Livin’ the Dream! focuses on the art of writing and offers sound writing tips and suggestions for up-and-coming writers. Show Notes read: “Brown discusses the topic of writing in all its forms! Whether it's a novel, screenplay, song, poetry – if it relates to writing – we'll talk about it.” Show guests include published authors, talk show personalities, songwriters, poets, motivational speakers – and everyday people looking to break into the writing industry.
