CSIRI.org Has Entered the Pepsi Challenge 250K Grant for December 2010

CSIRI.org and Johnny Picasso's Art and Coffee Bar have entered the Pepsi Challenge 250K Grant for December. Vote every day online in December and ask your friends to vote too. Help restore the healing benefits of music and art to the forefront of education in the 21st Century.

Anacortes, WA, November 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- People can vote every day in August for CSIRI to win the 250k Pepsi Challenge Grant in August, 2010. CSIRI is a local 501(c)(3) giving problem teens free counseling and volunteer opportunities since 2007. Every person with online access can vote once a day on the Pepsi site in December to help families have a safe place to enjoy the healing benefits of music and art. All funds will be used in the local community.

MOM'SOS, or Science of Open Systems Learning Centers, are created by workshop participants in Design by TEAMS, where every child gets a say in the design process. Freedom and choice are sources of creativity. Supported by volunteers and mentors, the Director, Andi Bowe, a fulltime PhD doctoral candidate in Education & Leadership, Self-Designed at Walden U online, with a Masters' in Education since 2005 from Grand Canyon University online, specializing in Instructional Technology, works pro bono to help heal and counsel domestic violence victims and their families. A piano teacher, published author, composer, and poet, Andi's goals are to create peace and to bring the spirit of Aloha to human relations. She will be performing an original medley of Christmas music on the 10K KAWAI grand piano concert at the local library on Dec. 19th from 2-2:30 PM. Everyone is welcome.
