Applied Principles Support Pork Farms Paperless Project

Pork Farms has doubled the capacity of their data capture system at their Queens Drive manufacturing site and all quality paperwork has now been removed throughout the production process.

Evesham, United Kingdom, November 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Pork Farms has doubled the capacity of their data capture system at their Queens Drive manufacturing site and all quality paperwork has now been removed throughout the production process. CCP, QC and QA results are electronically captured and monitored by Applied Principles’ data capture system, Principle Suite.

Queens Drive have been working with Applied Principles since July 2009 to improve processes and remove paper and the investment has been well received by retailers working with Pork Farms. Goods In and Low Risk were the first areas to remove paper and the additional equipment is being used to make the High Risk and Despatch areas paper free. Principle Suite real time alerts and quick access to online reporting means that communication between the factory floor and Technical Team is more efficient than ever. The system enables staff to close the loop on corrective actions in real time on the factory floor.

Applied Principles Managing Director, JJ Kotze, said: “It has been a pleasure working with the forward thinking team at Queens Drive over the last 18 months and we are now planning the rollout into the Production, Hygiene & Internal Audit departments. Pork Farms Ltd are now looking into the possibility of rolling the system out across the group.
