Charity of the Year, Nourishing USA Joining with Barnes & Noble to Wrap-Up Hunger

Nourishing NYC, will be helping hundreds of Barnes & Noble patrons “wrap-up hunger” this holiday season.

New York, NY, November 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Every Monday from November 29 to December 27, Nourishing USA will be in charge of the gift-wrap station of Barnes & Noble’s East 86th St. & Lexington Ave. location. Energetic, friendly, and informative volunteers will be wrapping items for customers in exchange for donations from 9am to 11pm. Barnes & Noble will provide volunteers with necessary wrapping supplies, workspace, and, above all, an opportunity for them to spread good cheer and information and outreach to those in the neighborhood.

The Community Relations program of Barnes & Noble, Inc. has been generously offering this fundraising opportunity to local charities for several years. Other charities participating include Dorot, Gilda’s Club, and Onebrick.org, to name a few. “Nourishing USA is very honored and excited to be a part of this holiday fundraiser; donations raised will help to fund a variety of programs, and the community will be able to learn more about them. A great way get and give back this holiday season!” says Fundraising Chair Rachel Feldman.
