Bethpage, NY, November 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Growing at an unprecedented rate in a challenging economy, Event Journal, Inc. reports a revenue increase of 40% in its fall season of 2010. Serving the nonprofit community, the company’s primary product, EVENTjournal.com, is a web-based tool that helps organizations raise more dollars and engage more donors with their major fundraising events.

Founded in 2002, Event Journal, Inc. is the original e-journal system for galas and other fundraising functions. The company introduced the concept of transforming the traditional printed ad journal or program book typically distributed at these events into a dynamic, multi-media experience. The enhanced product offers significant value to sponsors, guests and organizations’ professional staffs.

In recent months, the company completed successful new projects for many substantial organizations:

The New York Stem Cell Foundation engaged Event Journal for its Fifth Annual Gala Dinner, “Revolutionizing Cures.” The e-journal site, www.nyscfgala.org, gave the organization a thematic portal to sell an unprecedented number of supporter ads, offer online ticket sales and, even, a highly customized art auction of a limited number of pieces by artists Chuck Close and Roy Lichtenstein.

The Friends of the Israel Defense Forces engaged Event Journal for two of its New York-area dinners, the Real Estate Reception Dinner (www.fidfrealestatedinner.org) and Westchester/CT division dinner (www.fidfwctgala.org). Ads poured in as donors used the system, and many purchasers took advantage of the user-friendly online ad submission system to send their ads in early and have them posted in the pre-event period to show their support before the night of the event.

Another first-time Event Journal client, the St. Joseph Hill Academy, a private parochial school on Staten Island, used the online journal as a portal to reach out to alumni far and wide. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund went “paperless” for the first time for its 2000 plus person Awards Dinner, driving traffic to the online journal and displaying ads for its Fortune 500 sponsors on display screens at the New York Sheraton during the event.

Returning client, Community Blood Services of New Jersey, more than tripled its online ads using the advantages of internet reach and pre and post event visibility for sponsors and supporters. Mount Sinai Medical Center’s “Celebration of Life Gala” at the Pierre Hotel returned for a repeat of its 2009 success with the e-journal system and the hospital has now contracted for a second project for its “Greening Our Children” event to be held in May of 2011.

Event Journal, Inc. continues to lead the e-journal category and will be participating in upcoming professional conferences for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association of Healthcare Philanthropy and The Council for Advancement and Support of Education to educate and inform fundraising professionals about raising more money, more easily, employing the features and benefits of the EVENTjournal.com system.
