Waxing Out Hunger

Information regarding European Wax Center's participation in the Run to Feed the Hungry

Sacramento, CA, November 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- European Wax Center Participates in Run to Feed the Hungry.

Hoping to do their part to help combat hunger this holiday season, European Wax Center (EWC) — offering professional hair waxing services for men and women — will participate in the annual Run to Feed the Hungry benefiting Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.

“There are so many families who are in need this holiday season,” said Tim Bradbury, Regional Developer for the Greater Sacramento Region of EWC. “I’m fortunate to provide for my family and realize there are those who cannot.”

EWC’s team of 65 will wear t-shirts and carry balloons in EWC’s signature ruby-red as they participate in the annual Thanksgiving Day race. EWC hopes to meet their fundraising goal of $10,000.

The Run to Feed the Hungry — one of the largest and most respected community fun runs in the country — raises money for year round programs and services, providing free emergency goods to men, women and children in the Sacramento community.

About European Wax Centers:
European Wax Centers (EWC) began as a department within a second-generation family-owned salon and spa located in Aventura, FL. The founders, David and Joshua Coba, spent over 10 years refining every aspect of the company before evolving it into a stand-alone wax only facility. The first European Wax Center was opened in January 2004, a wax-only facility, the first of its kind. Today, there are seven locations open in the greater Sacramento area and over 145 locations nationwide.
