Motive Announces Involvement in New Foretravel IH-45 Model

Motive completed the CAD and Engineering requirements for the IH-45 body and dashboard program.

Calgary, Canada, November 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Following the unveiling of the new IH-45 Model by Foretravel, Motive announces its involvement in the program.

“We were honored to be apart of this program, sharing in the vision that Foretravel had for their new IH-45 model. The team at Foretravel, and Jason Hill of Eleven LLC, were excellent to work with and we look forward to working with them again”, said Nathan Armstrong, President at Motive.

Motive completed the CAD and Engineering requirements for the IH-45 body and dashboard program. The IH-45 will have increased interior and storage height, a new entry and dash, and professionally designed exterior. This new creation also has a newly engineered roof and floor. Additionally, Foretravel’s proprietary TravelRide™ chassis has been specifically redesigned for this new model. While it’s primarily targeted for the forty-five foot market, it is available in forty and forty-two foot lengths. The IH-45 is Foretravel’s first wholly conceived motorcoach in twenty-five years.

It will come equipped with Foretravel’s standard transmission retarder for supplemental braking and Cummin’s ISX 600/650 hp diesel engine. Gross vehicle weight rating is expected to be 52,000 pounds with an MSRP under $1.2 million.

The first IH-45 will be previewed at a factory reception in Nacogdoches, Texas, December 10, 2010. It will be officially debuted at the Florida RV SuperShow in Tampa, January 11-16, 2011.
