Allen Popowitz of Brach Eichler Helps Raise Money for ALS New York Chapter with New York Yankee Mark Teixeira

Roseland, NJ, December 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Greater New York Chapter of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALSA) recently held its Sixteenth Annual Lou Gehrig Sports Awards Benefit at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. The fundraiser was held on November 11, 2010, to honor Pam Shriver and Mark Teixeira and present the annual Jacob K. Javits Lifetime Achievement Award to Madelon L. Rand. The event raised over $1.1 million to benefit the Greater New York Chapter.

Popowitz currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater New York Chapter of the ALS Association and participates in various committees as well, all focused on raising money to fund ALS research and treatment.
