EPI Environmental Technologies Inc. Continues Global Reach - Uruguay Added to EPI’s Distribution

Vancouver, Canada, December 24, 2010 --(PR.com)-- EPI Environmental Technologies Inc. (“EPI”), the global leader of oxo-biodegradable plastic additives, has signed a sub-distributorship agreement with Saxonn S.A. for the distribution of TDPA™ Totally Degradable Plastic Additives™ in Uruguay.

“The trend we’re noticing is that larger companies are aware of biodegradable technology however, there seems to be a lot of misinformation in the market regarding the options available to make plastic biodegradable,” says Ms. Leticia Frigerio, Sales and Marketing Manager for Saxonn S.A. “Undoubtedly this provides us with a great opportunity to educate and help local businesses,” states Ms. Frigerio.

“There is favorable government support in our country and there will soon be a law implemented for all carrier shopping bags to be oxo-biodegradable in the foreseeable future,” concludes Leticia Frigerio.

Saxonn S.A. specializes in selling color and additive masterbatches for plastic and other chemical raw materials.
