Cepovett Launches CRAFTWORKER® Featuring CORDURA® Brand Fabric

A Durable, Comfortable and Stylish Solution for Workwear Apparel.

Gloucester, United Kingdom, January 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- French workwear company Cepovett will use Klopman Vantage fabric featuring CORDURA® brand technology for its CRAFTWORKER® workwear line. This unique collaboration brings together – the experience of Klopman as the leading European manufacturer of fabrics, the leadership of Cepovett as an established designer of workwear apparel, and the renowned durability of INVISTA’s CORDURA® fabric technology.

“The CRAFTWORKER® workwear apparel line provides end-users with durable and comfortable workwear that does not compromise on style,” said Franck Brunel, commercial director for Cepovett. “Klopman Vantage fabric featuring CORDURA® brand technology was a natural choice for the apparel line because of its unique combination of exceptional durability, high strength and outstanding comfort.”

Cepovett selected the Klopman Vantage fabric, which is based on an intimate blend of INVISTA’s T420 nylon 6,6 fibre and combed cotton, in a 250g/m2 twill construction in black, brown and khaki. Vantage fabric will be used for full garments as well as reinforcement patches.

Cepovett developed CRAFTWORKER® workwear in response to market demand and current trends. In recent years, consumers of workwear clothing have abandoned the classic “boiler suit,” which dominated workwear apparel for years, in favor of functional, high-quality and stylish garments.

“We are honoured that Cepovett chose the Vantage Fabric featuring CORDURA® brand technology in their quest to launch a new durable, stylish and comfortable workwear line,” said Susannah Rayfield, EMEA CORDURA® brand manager. “CORDURA® fabric is a perfect fit for this apparel line due to the demanding daily activities and working conditions these professionals encounter.”

In addition to the construction market, the CRAFTWORKER® workwear range is also targeted to workers in the professional trades and public-service workers. The workwear clothing line consists of coordinating functional garments – such as jackets, gilets, trousers and coveralls -- creating a professional and fashionable appearance. The garments, which will be launched in May 2010, will feature CORDURA® brand sew-in-labels and hangtags.

“Klopman is proud to be associated with the new CRAFTWORKER® workwear line from the Cepovett,” said Isabelle Dias, France and Benelux Market manager for Klopman International. “Vantage fabric is the ideal solution for such functional, stylish garments. It’s fantastic to see garment brands adopting innovative fabric technologies, like Vantage fabric, which offers wearers the benefits of durability and comfort.”

Klopman Vantage fabric featuring CORDURA® brand technology is the result of two years collaboration between Klopman International and INVISTA. INVISTA and Klopman worked together to launch Klopman Vantage fabric featuring CORDURA® brand technology to provide the optimum combination of durability and comfort – making it a perfect fit for the European workwear garment industry.
