)-- The Select Group has announced two internal promotions and one new hire as part of their plan to make 2011 a year focused on internal growth and national success.
Wade Tulk was promoted from Account Manager to Director, Corporate Strategy. This announcement comes in a recent wave of internal promotions as the full-service technical recruiting firm expands its national presence.
A graduate of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Tulk has been with The Select Group since January 2008. He previously served as Director of Business Development at Maynards Industries Inc.
“My career with The Select Group has provided me an opportunity to work alongside many talented professionals and I am honored to accept this new position,” commented Wade Tulk. “I plan to contribute to the company’s continued growth as our team works towards a greater vision in the future.”
In this new position, Tulk will provide leadership on business analysis and strategic decisions. In partnership with members of the Senior Management team, Tulk will be instrumental in making recommendations to further grow and develop the business.

The company also promoted Zach Earls to Sales Manager. Previously a Senior Account Manager, Earls will report to George Karakostantis, Director of Branch Operations, and is charged with managing the Account Management team and defining the company’s internal sales process. A graduate of Florida State University, Earls was responsible for rapid branch expansion and sales mentorship with another IT staffing firm prior to joining The Select Group.
“Zach’s experience building quality partnerships with clients, as well as managing recruiters, make him an ideal person for this job,” said Karakostantis. “I’m confident he will help The Select Group’s Account Management team surpass their goals.”

The company also announced the hiring of Bob Ferguson as Strategic Account Executive. A graduate of High Point University, Ferguson previously worked as a Sales Executive at ChannelAdvisor and has previous experience in the IT staffing industry. In his new role, Ferguson will be responsible for identifying new national account opportunities and working closely with the Director of National Sales to achieve strategic sales objectives.
