My Mad Methods Magazine Announces Free Workout DVD with Each Issue

My Mad Methods Magazine, a fitness publication emphasizing the use of unconventional training methods like kettlebells, sandbags, and other techniques, has announced a new addition to each issue: the inclusion of a follow-along workout DVD.

Costa Mesa, CA, January 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- My Mad Methods Magazine, a fitness publication emphasizing the use of unconventional training methods like kettlebells, sandbags, and other techniques, has announced a new addition to each fitness magazine issue: the inclusion of a follow-along workout DVD. The first issue to include a free workout DVD will be in February 2011; the fitness DVD will contain a workout by Joey Alvarado, creator of Combat Kettlebell Systems.

“We’re constantly trying to think up new ways to give our readers information about training with kettlebells, sandbags, bodyweight, macebells, and more,” said Mark de Grasse, owner and editor of the My Mad Methods Magazine. “What better way to get people involved with unconventional training than to give them follow-along workout that they can watch and perform at home?”

Starting with the February 2011 issue, each magazine will contain a workout DVD including a full-length, follow-along workout instructed by certified professionals. The workouts will range from 15 to 30 minutes and will utilize the methods encouraged in the magazine and on the company’s website, MyMadMethods.com. In addition, the DVD will also contain information and previews of other workout DVDs.

The decision to include a free workout DVD follows the recent production and release of My Mad Methods’ first workout DVD titled:

Combat Kettlebell Systems Volume 1. The Combat Kettlebell Systems DVD was created and performed by former professional MMA fighter, Joey Alvarado, and includes three follow-along workouts, step-by-step exercise instructions, a six-week workout schedule, and more.

The Combat Kettlebell Systems DVD is the first follow-along MMA workout kettlebell DVD to teach and incorporate several new kettlebell exercise variations into high intensity workouts geared for competitive MMA fighting. These new kettlebell exercises include the Rocking Chair Get Up, Fighter’s Figure 8, Fighter Swing, Kettlebell Upa, and more.

My Mad Methods has plans for many more workout DVDs and is currently seeking qualified trainers who have created innovative workout systems that can be useful to My Mad Methods Magazine subscribers. The MyMadMethods.com website contains a directory of gyms, trainers, exercises, workouts, workout plans, articles, certifications, and more that can be used by anyone to get into better
shape.

“We hope that people will use the free workout DVD that’s included with each issue to explore new methods of getting into shape,” said Mark de Grasse about the new offer. “The fitness professionals that contribute to the magazine issues, websites, and DVDs produced by My Mad Methods are some of the most dedicated in the industry, and the knowledge that they have shared have helped countless people to achieve their goals; this free DVD offer will be one more way for them to do just that.”
