Los Angeles, CA, January 09, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Yats Wine Cellars holds another public wine tasting session titled Yats Wine Experience on 20th January, 2011 in Makati Manila Philippines featuring the great red wines of Italy.
Yats Wine Cellars regularly holds wine tasting events in Philippines for residents and tourists looking for things to do in Manila, Angeles City, Subic and Clark Philippines. Public wine tastings held by Yats are fun and educational, frequently participated by wine lovers and connoisseurs in Manila.
Yats Wine Experience is a public wine appreciation event. Because there are no sponsors, participants are never exposed to pushy wine salesmen or subjected to boring sales pitches and speeches. Every event has a different theme designed to highlight a certain aspect in wine appreciation. Although the whole point about Yats Wine Experience is really to have a wonderful time with wine and congenial company, many participants leave the event knowing more about wine after having a great time with old and new friends.
Admission is p1,500 but tickets can be purchased in advance for p1,100 Inclusive of a wine-friendly buffet served by Upper East Restaurant.
Wines of this YWE session
This event will re-visit some classic red wines of Italy. Fine vintage wines are being discovered much to the (pleasant) surprise of the more adventurous wine enthusiasts who took the trouble to seek out new and exciting wine regions within the geographical areas commonly referred to as “the old world.” For this particular Yats Wine Experience session, wine enthusiasts will taste and compare five major styles of red wine from Italy:
· Barbera – Arguably the most (food) versatile wine of Italy;
· Dolcetto – good reasons for why it is literally called the “sweet one”;
Nebbillo – responsible for the “king of wines and the wine of kings”;
Chianti – an internal classic, a benchmark for terroir;
Morellino – a connoisseur’s choice for wines from Tuscany;
