Resolve to Make a Difference This Year and Access Self Storage Will Help

Access Self Storage launches donation-matching program designed to encourage customers to increase charitable donations.

Dallas, TX, January 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- For many people, New Year’s resolutions are as easily forgotten as they are made, but customers of Dallas-area Access Self Storage will have some support this year. Hoping to encourage community members to make a difference in the lives of those around them, the company has launched a new donation-matching program just in time for the new year.

Beginning this week, customers at each of the six DFW Access locations will have the opportunity to show their financial support to a variety of charitable organizations. Donations in any amount will be accepted and matched by Access Self Storage’s corporate office up to $2000.

The first program beneficiary chosen by company owner Doug Hunt will be the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. The hospital, founded in 1921, has helped over 190,000 Texas children free of charge and specializes in orthopedics, learning disabilities, and certain neurological disorders.

“We’re hoping that our customers will choose to make a difference this year instead of making a resolution that won’t hold up. And we want to help them do it,” says Doug Hunt. “Donate this year and we’ll match it!” he finishes.
