RadarActive Helps a New York Driver Fight a Speeding Ticket

RadarActive for iPhone: world's first real time radar detector network - crowdsourcing police speed traps. RadarActive is powered by radar detector enthusiasts, available to all drivers.

San Mateo, CA, January 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Michael B., a RadarActive technology enthusiast, successfully fought back the speeding ticket using the RadarActive Vault© service.

Michael was wrongfully charged with violating a New York Vehicle and Traffic Law section 1180(d): Speeding 84 mph in a 65 mph zone. Michael needed the evidence to fight back. Fortunately, he was running RadarActive system, which empowers the driver on the road with timely speed trap warnings and in the court room with a speed report from RadarActive Vault. The RadarActive Vault report provides detailed time, location, speed, and radar gun signal detection information at the exact time the vehicle is tagged with a radar gun. In Michael's case, the charges were reduced to "speeding 66 mph in a 65 mph zone."

"... it worked!!! I am highly impressed with how accurate the RadarActive system is, and how it worked in my favor in traffic court," commented Michael.

RadarActive is a real time radar detector network. RadarActive allows drivers to connect radar detectors directly to their iPhones, thereby to automatically report speedtraps to the network in real time. Central server employs unique algorithms to analyze and redistribute speed trap information to all drivers on the road. RadarActive also alerts users to red light cameras and speed cameras.

RadarActive Vault© is a service currently available to early adopters running RadarActive with Valentine One radar detector. This service allows users to privately and securely review information relevant to their case.
