Jakarta, Indonesia, January 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The aim of this conference is to come forward with a common understanding and vision of the process of human development. The papers and discussions presented at the conference will afterwards be published in book form.

The following themes and topics will be discussed:

Anthropology in transcendent philosophy.
Anthropology in comparative philosophy (Eastern, Western and Continental).

Academics with international standing from Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Thailand will present papers at the conference. It is open to the general public and students, civil servants and members of NGOs are welcome to attend. The main languages used at the conference will be Persian, Arabic, English and Indonesian.

Philosophical anthropology is a relatively new branch of philosophy whereby human behaviour is studied both in terms of how the environment affects it and how the human's own value system determines his actions.
