Fort Worth, TX, January 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Frank Sanchez Jr, Vice President of Sports, Entertainment & Alumni of Boys & Girls Clubs of America and other special guests will have a panel discussion on how they have established a core audience of millennials from traditional advertising to social media interaction leveraging celebrities, athletes and influencers at the Dallas Fort Worth American Marketing Association’s (DFW AMA) Multi-Cultural (SIG) on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011 at The Magnolia Theatre.

One of the most coveted target audiences to reach is millennials, perhaps one of the most analytical and media-savvy consumer segments. This high tech generation of “influencers” represents some 80 million brand-conscious buyers ages 16-29. Many of today’s Millennial share an urban mind-set and lifestyle fueled by discovery, passion, diversity and connectivity. They are truthful, passionate, highly engaged, celebrity-driven and social media equipped.

Attendees will see how millennials are just as influential as celebrities and athletes, understand the opportunities that exist integrating Multi-Cultural Marketing and Urban-Style Marketing. Also, they will learn how to embrace the cultural difference of their consumers and reach them more effectively.

Frank Sanchez, Jr., is a 40-year veteran of the Boys & Girls Club Movement with more than 26 years of professional experience. As the Vice President of Sports, Entertainment and Alumni Development, his responsibilities include the development and implementation of a National Alumni Strategy in addition to managing BGCA’s celebrity and alumni relationships, highlighted by BGCA annual Alumni Hall of Fame induction and BGCA National Conference. Prior to this, Frank was Vice President of Corporate & Partner Relationships where he assured that BGCA was exceeding the expectations and outcomes of its many corporate partners.
