London, United Kingdom, February 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Trevellyan Developments toasts success for Camberley industrial scheme.

Twelve months on from the launch of the Bridge Trade & Industrial Park in Camberley its owner, Trevellyan Developments Limited, is celebrating a string of further lettings at the 30,000 sq ft scheme following the successful refurbishment of additional industrial accommodation on site.

Following a number of lettings of smaller properties during 2010 Trevellyan Developments took the decision to provide additional small units, totalling 13,913 sq ft, by subdividing one of the larger buildings on site. Represented by Wadham & Isherwood and Clare & Co, the landlord has subsequently let five of the eight new units with strong interest in the final units.

Divos Autos has taken 1,280 sq ft at Unit 7C, with The Lunchbox has also taken 1,280 sq ft at Unit 7E and Reflections Body Repairs has taken 2,373 sq ft at Unit 7F. Unit 7H which totals 2,619 sq ft has been let to Mercury Electroplating and Unit 7G, which totals 1,862 sq ft, is under offer.

All the units have been taken on three-year leases at an annual rent of £6.75 per sq ft plus and estate service charge of 75p per sq ft. Further units are available at Unit 3 which has also been subdivided which also offers around 2,000 sq ft of office accommodation, which could be adapted for alternative uses.

Lance Trevellyan, of Trevellyan Developments says: “We are very proud of what has been achieved at The Bridge Trade & Industrial Park over the past year. The refurbishment of the estate was aimed at assisting small and medium sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs by providing traditional style, economical industrial properties. This approach has proved very popular with occupiers who have been attracted from across a wide area, which is a reflection of the scarcity of such properties in south west Surrey and north Hampshire areas”.

Wadham & Isherwood’s Geoff Reeve comments: “The availability of refurbished properties on flexible terms and economic rents has proved to be a winning combination for small businesses looking for traditional and cost-effective accommodation.”

Clare & Co’s David Savage agrees and adds “The Bridge Trade & Industrial Park was one of the Blackwater Valley’s success stories during 2010. The remaining space is ideal for start-up businesses and occupiers that require affordable, traditional style properties.”
