C-True & OLAM Ink US Distribution Agreement

C-True Face Recognition Solutions increases international presence with expansion of marketing and sales in the United States.

Buffalo Grove, IL, February 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Identity theft is now the fastest growing crime around the world. C-True’s Innovative Advanced Technology for Identity Protection enhances security by using “your face as your key” in the rapidly evolving digital world. Positive identification is a requisite for insuring only authenticated individuals are granted access to secure areas in buildings. Unauthorized entry can potentially endanger life and property. The C-Entry product line has been crafted to specifically address governmental buildings, commercial and industrial high rise and campus environments. In addition, the C-Pass solution provides rapid identification and authorization to travelers and minimizes security line wait time.

Face recognition was selected by ICAO, IATA and governments around the world as the leading biometric ID technology. The technology addresses applications in consumer electronics, financial world, retail, automotive, e-commerce, homeland security and more.

C-True, LTD and OLAM Development Group, LLC. are pleased to announce a joint venture agreement to introduce the entire line of Face Recognition Solutions to the United States market. OLAM will augment its Signapse Solution for Homeland Security and Safe Communities with C-True. In addition, the solution will be supported in the US by OLAM’s Technical Operations Center located in Chicago.

Announcing the newest product, C-Entry DH-2 joins the C-True family of facial recognition based product line of C-Pass (e-Passport and e-ID document authentication), C-Access (OEM kit for self service systems), C-Gates (travelers boarding pass authentication system).

C-Entry DH-2 capitalizes on an installed base of C-Entry DH-1, its former version already installed in 24 countries. C-Entry DH-2 enjoys a wealth of new functionalities and features, aiming for ultimate security, and multimodality global presence. C-Entry DH-2 specifically excels in performing outstandingly in facial recognition over a very large dynamic range of environmental conditions and user characteristics, a virtue which places C-Entry DH-2 in a category on its own.

The platform provides strong computing abilities, multi protocol communications, , I/O capabilities, a wide range of input devices support, multi-mode RF-ID service, multi-factor authentication integration support, adaptive embedded illumination, a wide range of enhanced specifications, single camera support for various heights and a very friendly GUI via its touch screen.

The C-Pass document authentication solution assists border control, customs and security officials to verify passenger's identity, allowing for rapid processing, while increasing security, control and response to heightened alerts. The system could also be integrated in self service kiosk for passenger authentication.

Initiating a dialog with a new customer, the system performs a quick scan of the subject's face, employing an algorithm that analyzes facial features and assigns the persons a unique ID. The system performs this process autonomously, without any operator support. C-True employs a combination of face recognition identification techniques, including mapping face features and special distinguishing marks, skin tone and skin texture. Under normal conditions, the system provides high probability (99.99%) positive identification.

These systems are fully compatible with C-True's Biogate management server capable of handling a scalable networked-based open architecture system with a heterogenic array of disparate biometric devices (card access, hand & iris scanners, video surveillance, etc.) that provide additional layers of authentication. For example, the system is effective for use in a single building or across multiple buildings where thousands of authenticated individuals are granted access daily. Particular applications include data centers, sensitive record storage areas, weapons storage, public school systems, universities and college campuses, city, county, state government facilities and military bases with facilities spread across municipal areas. The C-True solution can integrate a combination of both Physical Security Information Management and Network Log in Security for corporate hoteling and portability applications.
