UCAAN Gets Businesses Involved

Local charity organization brings businesses together to aid one another, promote and to help a local non-profit.

Thousand Oaks, CA, February 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- With the economy slowly getting better, we all as business owners must find a way to survive & thrive in this time. UCAAN - United Cancer Advocacy Action Network is taking a step forward and trying to work with other businesses in hopes that we can all thrive.

UCAAN's normal events consist of themes, gift wrap, celebrities, and specialty events, but this year they are starting it out right with a new type of event:
A Business Fair & Networking Event.

The event will be held at the Thousand Oaks Library located at 1401 E. Janss Road - Thousand Oaks (In the Main Conference Room) on Saturday April 2nd, 2011.

From 12 noon to 4pm.

The event includes time to network, business speakers & UCAAN founder Rachel Shur will speak, and, as well, there is a give-away, and lots of businesses to meet. Businesses can participate by purchasing a space at the event for only $50, or registering to attend for only $15 (which includes 5 Give-Away tickets). Spaces for booths are limited to 15.

UCAAN is beyond excited about this event because it's beyond different from their normal event. And since UCAAN is getting more involved in networking groups and the Chamber, they felt that this would be the best, and most beneficial type of event to have.
