Jervis B. Webb Company Expands Smart Handling System Group

Farmington Hills, MI, February 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Jervis B. Webb Company – a world leader in material handling solutions – has named Ric Heft and Earl Raynal as business development specialists within the company’s Smart Handling System group. Each is responsible for developing new business in the Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) market.

The two business development specialists will assist Webb in finding new customers for the company’s various AGV products, which include SmartCart® and SmartLoader™. Webb has expanded its AGV navigation offerings to include laser guidance along with inertial, wire and magnetic tape.

Prior to joining the Webb Company, Heft was an independent consultant in factory design, conveyors and automation for more than 20 years. Raynal rejoins the Webb Company bringing 23 years of experience in material handling sales, estimating, simulation and concept development, project management and sales management. Raynal earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Michigan.
