Costa Rica's Newest Ecotourism Resort EcoBURICA

The newest ecotoursim resort in Costa Rica, ecoBURICA, has opened and is accepting reservations. The resort hosted travel industry professionals in January, all of whom raved about this forgotten and isolated part of Costa Rica.

San Jose, Costa Rica, February 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Costa Rica’s newest ecotourism camp has opened for business. EcoBURICA (www.ecoburica.com) in Costa Rica’s last frontier, the Burica peninsula in the deep south, hosted travel industry professionals in January at its “soft” opening. (See travel writer Don Mankin’s review in the February edition of “Active Over 50”) Ecoburica is an affordable All Inclusive nature resort presenting Costa Rica in its original virgin splendour. No roads, no pollution, no stress. Entry to this paradise is an adventure in itself. Following a 1.75 hr boat ride down the open Pacific Ocean, visitors glide to a soft landing on a black volcanic sand beach. The surrounding terrain looks like a scene from Jurassic Park, minus the dinosaurs. On any given day visitors will be treated to views of monkeys (three different species), toucans and parrots, blue morph butterflies, humpback whales, giant sea turtles and immense old growth trees. The stay can be as challenging or relaxing as the visitor chooses. Hike the 450 acre private nature preserve, go horseback riding, bird watching or simply laze in a hammock with a cold beer and watch the surf while ecoBURICA's award winning chef prepares culinary delights. EcoBURICA is accepting reservations for the balance of this season (March – June) and also for the 2011-2012 dry season (Nov – May). EcoBURICA can also be found on Facebook .
