innovative talent and business strategies

HR People & Strategy (HRPS) will host its 34th Annual Global Conference, April 3-6, 2011 at the JW Marriott Starr Pass in Tucson, Ariz. Executives and strategists from the world’s leading companies will share their approaches and solutions surrounding current industry issues and challenges.

More than 300 senior-level HR professionals will gather to help organizations enhance their performance and business value through strategic management of human resources in Tucson.

“Every year our diverse program of presenters, including successful entrepreneurs, best-selling authors and C-suite HR executives is impressive, but it’s the intimate, group collaboration and peer-to-peer engagement that sets us apart,” said Ann Manikas, VP Leadership and Organizational Development, ITW, and Global Conference Co-chair. “For three days, attendees participate in an off-site retreat that allows for personal rejuvenation and leave feeling re-energized and prepared to implement ideas that will immediately benefit their organizations.”

Educational sessions are organized based on the HRPS five pillars of knowledge and focus on HR strategy implementation:

HR strategy and planning;
Leadership development;
Talent management;
Organizational effectiveness; and
Building a strategic HR function.

Presenting on these themes are speakers Amy Kates and Greg Kesler, Managing Partners, Kates Kesler Organization Consulting; Marc Effron, author of One Page Talent Management; David Rock, Founder and CEO, Results Coaching Systems; Ann Rhoades, President, People Ink and Co-founder and CEO, CareLeaders; and more.
