TNNWC Member Joins Efforts Combating Abuse, Community Crime

A valued contributor to TNNWC Group, LLC, and a member of the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Soke Joseph L. Droual, has joined Curtis Sliwa’s Guardian Angels to protect youth in Huntington Town, NY. He also works with the National Organization for Women’s Safety Awareness. As part of TNNWC’s BUZZWORKS team, Soke Joe provides member businesses with social media guidance and support, Adam J. Droual, a member of TNNWC Group, LLC, as well as a small business owner, literally walks the talk in promoting positive life-changing experiences in individuals. He has thrown his support behind two groups dedicated to making the world a better and safer place: The Guardian Angels and the National Organization for Women’s Safety Awareness, an organization that provides abused women with shelter and support. Soke Joe Droual has owned and operated a self-defense education and training center since 1966, The New York Martial Arts Hombu of Huntington, New York.

Soke Joe is a member of the advisory council for NOWSA. Most recently, he supported NOWSA’s Voices for a Cause™, a fundraiser that brought together celebrities and entertainers to support the organization. He also is contributing his time and experience to an initiative with Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa and local officials in Huntington Town, NY, to develop programs aimed at protecting youth from gangs.

To Soke Joe, it means giving back to the community where he lives and taking care of others. “This is my passion in life,” he said. “I want to do this for my community because I do not want to see people hurt. My life has been dedicated to helping others learn how to protect and defend themselves, from the opening of my training center in 1966 to today.
