EVENTjournal.com Heightens National Presence in Response to Demand

With an ever-increasing presence at professional conferences nationwide, EVENTjournal.com has expanded outreach efforts to bring e-journal technology to a growing spectrum of nonprofits across the country.

Bethpage, NY, February 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- With an ever-increasing presence at professional conferences nationwide, EVENTjournal.com has expanded outreach efforts to bring e-journal technology to a growing spectrum of nonprofits across the country.

In 2011, the company added participation with CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, exhibiting at the District I conference in New England in January. In March, the company will participate as a first-time exhibitor at NEAHP, the New England Association of Healthcare Philanthropy in Newport, RI, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference in Chicago. Later this spring, Event Journal will participate in a Special Events Fundraising conference for CASE in Los Angeles.

This expansion is in response to a growing number and diversity of organizations seeking the services of EVENTjournal, based in New York, and having focused its efforts, primarily, on nonprofits in the NY metro since its formation in 2002.

“We’ve seen a marked increase in organizations seeking something new, something better,” said Karen Perry, President and Founder of Event Journal, Inc. “The e-journal, or digital online journal intrigues many proactive event fundraisers. The challenge is to overcome the reticence of traditionalists to allow the enhancements built into the e-journal system to add value and fundraising capacity to their special events such as galas and benefit dinners.”

For clients who embrace the online e-journal, featuring complete event information, sponsor ads and secure shopping cart for online purchases of tickets, tables, sponsorships and e-journal ads, substantial increases in revenues generated have been cited. The most recent such success story was for a very traditional event held by Mount Sinai Medical Center that experienced a 50% increase in funds raised using the EVENTjournal.com e-journal system.

In addition to the web-based component, the e-journal system balances its online presence by providing an elegant and thematic journal presentation that plays at the event, where all attendees view all the ads throughout the evening. This, in contrast to traditional ad journal booklets typically viewed during speeches, and then, left behind at the end of the evening.

The EVENTjournal.com system elevates the ad journal or program book distributed at major fundraising events to a new level, incorporating the benefits of the Internet. EVENTjournal.com helps organizations increase outreach, generate increased revenue and reduce administrative workload. “The days of paper ads in journal program books are over,” says Perry. “Sponsors want more, and EVENTjournal.com offers the best means of embracing today’s technology to benefit the bottom line. As best said by Winston Churchill, ‘There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction’.”
