Terry Atamian Gives the Gift of Hockey to Tewksbury Youth
Terry Atamian, President of Atamian Volkswagen & Honda of Tewksbury, MA Sponsors 7th Annual Tewksbury Youth Skating Association Golf Tournament.
Tewksbury, MA, February 25, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Terry Atamian, President of Atamian Volkswagen & Honda of Tewksbury, MA was a $100 sponsor of this year’s Tewksbury Youth Skating Association’s (TYSA) Golf Tournament. The tournament took place at the Tewksbury Country Club on Friday, August 27th.
Terry Atamian has also long been active in numerous community and charitable activities through the years, including the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Genesis Fund, Cam Neely Foundation and Tewksbury, Falmouth and Lowell youth organizations.
“Sports and recreation are a solid foundation for today’s youth,” said Atamian Volkswagen & Honda, Inc. President Reed Atamian. “My family is honored to be a part of an event like the golf tournament that keeps our youth active and allows the hockey program to flourish in the Tewksbury community.”
In addition to their sponsorship of the evening, the Atamian Family has also donated 4 Loge Box Seats to Red Sox game valuing over $800 that was auctioned at the tournament.
“Without our fundraising efforts and commitment from our sponsors, many boys and girls would not be able to play this exciting sport,” said Events Coordinator Kristen Andrea, on behalf of Tewksbury Youth Skating Association. “TYSA is extremely grateful to all of our volunteers and sponsors, including the the Atamian Family, whose generous donations are helping to keep youth hockey operating in Tewksbury."
The TYSA is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers, which provides Tewksbury children the opportunity to learn how to skate and play the game of hockey.
