Barefoot Technologies' Edward Ulmer Asked to Sit on NNEREN Board

The Capitol Region Board of REALTORS has asked Ed Ulmer to act as a representative for them on the NNERN Board.

Henniker, NH, February 26, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Barefoot Technologies’ Director of Business Development and Real Estate Agent with Jean Hooker & Associates Real Estate in Henniker, Edward Ulmer, has been asked by the Capitol Region Board of REALTORS to represent their interests as an director alternate on the Northern New England Real Estate Network (NNERN). NNERN is a for profit organization, and is in charge of the MLS listing system in the states of New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts with an excess of 6000 REALTOR members.

NNEREN is comprised of 18 local boards in Vermont and New Hampshire, with a total of 52 board members that make the business decisions for the organization, two from each board. The board members also sit on a number of committees to assist the full time staff in their positions including web site, commercial, forms, complaints and violations and others. Ed has been asked to represent the Capitol Region Board of REALTORS, replacing Kathy Ahlin, who is the 2012 incoming president of the Capitol Region Board of REALTORS. Due to Ed’s extensive background in real estate, knowledge about the rental industry, connections with NAR and technology background, he is an ideal candidate. He sits on the board with Director Darline Crane from Crane Associates in Hillsboro.

“I was surprised when they asked me to join their board,” says Ed Ulmer. “It is a great honor that they would even consider me, let alone ask me to join them.”

The term is for one year, which began in January, with monthly meetings being held in White River Junction.
