Litigator Heidi S. Reiff of Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC Installed as President Elect of Palm Beach County Justice Association

West Palm Beach, FL, March 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Heidi Reiff, an attorney at Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, PLLC (LLL&S) has been elected by her peers and installed as the President-Elect of the Palm Beach County Justice Association (PBCJA), an organization of more than 450 trial attorneys and paralegals in Palm Beach County that represent the plaintiff in civil cases. Reiff, who will serve a one-year term as President-Elect, will begin her term as President in January 2012. Serving on the Board of Directors for the PBCJA has been a top priority for Reiff since 2007, as she has served as Secretary in 2009 and Treasurer in 2010 for the organization.

The Palm Beach County Justice Association is dedicated to inspiring excellence in advocacy, upholding the honor and dignity of the legal profession, and encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity of civil trial lawyers in Palm Beach County. Established in 1985 with the goal of providing civil trial lawyers with the tools and resources needed to improve and enhance their trial practices, the Palm Beach County Justice Association continues to offer its members educational and professional development through monthly networking meetings, continuing legal education seminars and an extensive litigation bank. Concentrating her practice at LLL&S in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, Reiff draws upon her extensive trial experience as a defense attorney for a major insurance company to be an asset to the firm and the injured clients she represents. She began her career as a Broward County Assistant State Attorney prosecuting more than 150 criminal jury trials and educating new Florida drivers through the statewide Drug Alcohol and Traffic Education program. She then began a 12-year tenure as a trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company, for which she litigated more than 100 personal injury jury trials representing not only Allstate, but also those individuals and businesses that were insured by the company.

Reiff, grew up in Palm Beach Gardens, graduated from the University of Florida and earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southern University Law School. She is a member of The Florida and Palm Beach County Bar Associations; United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida; American Board of Trial Advocates; American Association for Justice; and Florida Justice Association. She is also a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, serving as Co-Chair of the Judicial Reception committee for 2010 and 2011. Active in the community, Reiff serves on the MorseLife Geriatric Center Board of Directors; has been Co-Chair of ArtiGras’ ArtiKids since 2009; and served as Co-Chair of Raise the Bar/Women's Foundation in 2010. She is a committee member of the Girls Leadership Institute, and a member of Anti-Defamation League, Glass Leadership Institute; Palm Beach Business Associates; and School Advisory Council at Lighthouse Elementary School.
