EZ Tattoo, Scottsdale’s Original Tattoo Shop, Unveils Brand New Location

Responding to customer demand, EZ Tattoo, Scottsdale's original tattoo shop, has opened a larger, state-of-the-art studio in Scottsdale.

Scottsdale, AZ, March 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Responding to customer demand, EZ Tattoo, Scottsdale's original tattoo shop, has opened a larger, state-of-the-art studio in Scottsdale.

The new studio, located at 909 N. Hayden Road, doubles the original shop’s square footage and further enhances the Arizona Tattoo shop's reputation for delivering a professional and safe approach to the increasingly popular art form.

Owner Myron Larrabee, who pioneered the tattoo business in Scottsdale, said the new Hayden Road location offers more room, extra privacy and the ability for his artists to excel creatively.

“Everything about this new shop was designed with the customer in mind,” Larrabee said. “To us, it's always been about delivering the best experience possible and this shop delivers on that promise.”

EZ Tattoo's new location nearly doubles the space of the original shop that occupied the corner of Scottsdale and Second Street in old town Scottsdale for almost 17 years. That location sat adjacent to Larrabee’s popular Billet Bar.

The new location includes private artist rooms that allow customers the opportunity to have tattoos and piercings done without the prying eyes of strangers intruding. A state-of the art clean room ensures safety for customers and a high-tech design room and thousands of design examples ensure that customers receive a work of art tailored to their specific desires.

Like his shop, Larrabee says the industry - as well as the acceptance of tattoos in mainstream culture - has come a long way since the early days of EZ Tattoo.

“The stereotype of tattooed bikers being a tattoo shop's main customer niche is nowhere near the reality of today's industry,” he said. “Today, it's much more common to see doctors and lawyers walking through our door than a biker, who probably counts for about one percent of our tattoo business these days.”

The new shop meets the demands of these discriminating clients, Larrabee said.

“It's much more of a salon experience today than that of an old-fashioned tattoo shop,” he said. “Customers demand a higher level of sophistication from a tattoo shop and we deliver that better than anyone else.”
