Nonprofit Homegrown Lacrosse Launches Redesigned Website

Homegrownlacrosse.org is a reflection of the organization’s personality and commitment to serving the community

St. Paul, MN, March 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Founded in 2003, the Twin Cities-based nonprofit Homegrown Lacrosse uses the sport of lacrosse to provide opportunities for individuals to get involved and cultivate the skills and relationships necessary to succeed on and off the field. The organization’s redesigned website – www.homegrownlacrosse.org - takes that philosophy online.

Inspired by and incorporating photography by Homegrown Lacrosse Board Member, Adam Crane, the redesigned site is an online representation of the organization’s commitment to create and foster community and individual growth through lacrosse and embodies the people, experiences and engagement that is the culture of Homegrown Lacrosse.

“Homegrown is first and foremost a community built upon our love for the sport and our commitment to each other,” said Aron Lipkin, executive director and co-founder of Homegrown Lacrosse. “With our redesigned site, we’ve created an online destination where visitors can get to know us as individual basis, share in our stories and access resources to expand their knowledge and skills on and off the field. But more than anything, be a part of the community that we are building together.”

Embedded with engaging stories, in-depth staff profiles and player perspectives, the redesigned site is rich with content and images. In addition to information and registration for Homegrown Lacrosse’s fee- and service-based programming, the redesigned website offers opportunities for community interaction as well as resources for players, parents, coaches, lacrosse associations and educational institutions.

Features of the redesigned website include:

– Enhanced online store featuring exclusive Homegrown Lacrosse apparel
– Robust league standings and player statistics powered by TST Media’s NGIN platform
– Engaging and in-depth staff and coaches’ profiles
– Feature stories, player perspectives and participant feedback
– Volunteer and employment opportunities
– Online donation capabilities
