Illinois Representative Utilizes Rabine Group Headquarters - State Representative Michelle Mussman Speaks to Several Community Leaders in New Conference Room

Schaumburg, IL, March 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Rabine Group headquarters added a new addition to the Schaumburg office, a pristine lecture hall, more commonly referred to as the Rabine Academy, that has many uses for both Rabine Group and outside individuals. The new room, which was added to the Rabine Group headquarters in June 2010, has a classroom-like feel, with a variety of opportunities to accommodate many needs of prestigious community leaders, such as State Representative Mussman.

Mussman held a Business Roundtable Discussion on February 18, 2011. The several attendees included local business leaders and community members, including representatives from the Schaumburg Business Association, Walgreens, the Rabine Group and several others. Representative Mussman allowed many ideas and concepts to be shared between those in attendance; however, much discussion focused specifically on a new proposal known as HB 1084.

This new proposal creates the Business Mandate Note Act, which will require state legislators to file a report saying what the impact of any fee increase would potentially have on state coffers. This also would apply to public and private workforce.

Representative Mussman said she was thankful and very pleased with Rabine Group's auditorium being used for her discussion. “I think there was a good turn out and a nice variety of business types, some large and some small. I look forward to having more events like this in the future,” said Representative Mussman.

Mussman also touched on the many negative effects of passing tax increases, many of which she believes are not sufficiently thought through, considering the local, regional and state economies. Members of the roundtable expressed ideas and debated what needs to be done in order to achieve what was simply stated as "the right thing."
