Learn How to Develop Your Government Contract "Marketing Machine" at March 22 Women's Business Development Center Workshop

Chicago, IL, March 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Business owners who want to grow their business with government contracts will learn the key elements to obtaining these contracts at a workshop, “Marketing Your Business to the Government,” on Tuesday, March 22, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), 8 S. Michigan Ave., Suite 400, in Chicago.

The workshop is for established businesses with the capability to handle potentially large contracts and HUBZone, 8(a), and GSA Schedulers ready to maximize their certified status. Topics include: presenting your business to small business specialists, writing an effective capability statement, maximizing outreach events, developing a targeted list, marketing to state and local agencies and utilizing support resources.
