New Braunfels Employee Wins Bi-State Award

Cherise Farmer, employee of Hope Hospice in New Braunfels, TX, wins the Texas-New Mexico Hospice Organization's Employee of the Year award.

New Braunfels, TX, March 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Cherise Farmer, Help Desk Specialist at Hope Hospice, was selected as the Texas-New Mexico Hospice Organization’s Office Staff Member of the Year. TNMHO is the oldest hospice organization in the state of Texas. Farmer’s nomination was selected from 240 member hospice organizations.

The nomination was organized by Mark Blaine, Farmer’s supervisor and Hope Hospice’s Information Systems Manager. Blaine’s glowing review of Farmer’s organization, stewardship and competency was supplemented with additional recommendations from Hope’s Director of Communications and Development, Director of Volunteer Services and Children’s Grief Program Coordinator. Farmer will be recognized at an awards ceremony in Dallas on March 19th.

Hope Hospice’s most recent prior staff members to be recognized by TNMHO were Jane Marie Young as Bereavement Counselor of the Year and Sonja Dalglish, Chaplain of the Year, both in 2006.
