The Beautiful Day Foundation (BDF), the organization raising awareness about breast cancer, synonymous for youth education and outreach at college and high school campuses will be the grateful beneficiaries of a portion of sales made at the TenderBabe’s Boutique, a local retailer, specializing in trendy and affordable fashion, in Hermosa Beach on Saturday, March 26, 2011.
From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, 20% of all sales at TenderBabe’s Boutique, at 727 2nd Street, Suite 205 in Hermosa Beach, will benefit the Beautiful Day Foundation. To ensure attendees won’t go home empty-handed, door prizes will be handed out, champagne will be served and there will be an opportunity to win a $150 gift certificate toward more fashion finds at TenderBabe’s Boutique. Vienna Flores, the Director of Fundraising & Special Events for the Beautiful Day Foundation, shared that “Women love to shop, why not leave the guilt out of it and shop to support a great cause?”
With breast cancer as the leading cause of cancer-related death in women ages 15-54, the Beautiful Day Foundation is committed to continuous outreach efforts to young women. Their first in-store fundraising and education event, the TenderBabe’s “Sip, Shop and Support” occasion will offer a fun, fashionable and fabulous opportunity for the Beautiful Day Foundation to reach young women.
TenderBabe’s CEO and Founder, Ashley Daniels stated that, “We are very excited and honored to partner with The Beautiful Day Foundation in our first charity fundraising event. Every day is a blessing; it’s our goal not only to be successful, but to share our achievements by giving back to our communities.” One of the favorite quotes of the Beautiful Day Foundation is a reminder that all of their supporters “live each day, every day, as a Beautiful Day.”
About the Beautiful Day Foundation
The Beautiful Day Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing breast cancer education to young women across the globe. The organization brings professionals who know and people who care together to provide the information and support that young women need to fight this disease with courage and strength. The Beautiful Day Foundation is a fresh voice in helping young women with breast cancer face each day's challenges with grace, humor, and style.
The Beautiful Day Foundation was founded in 2005 by Daylani Santos Röllich (1973-2006), a young woman who battled breast cancer and envisioned a way to educate other young women about the challenges of cancer and ways to live today, each day, every day as a "Beautiful Day.”
