Dragonfly@wyndham and Guide to Life Recruit Brave Men as Waxing Warriors to Raise Funds for Hong Kong Alley Cat Watch - a Charity Organization Aiming to Help Stray Cats

Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., March 27, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dragonfly Therapeutic Retreats is rolling out a revolutionary challenge as a first of its kind fundraising initiative in the city - in cooperation with Guide to Life to recruit 10 brave men in Hong Kong who will volunteer to be Waxing Warriors and raise funds for Hong Kong Alley Cat Watch - an organization helping the plight of street cats in the city. This is achieved through trap, neuter, and release, a homing program for the friendly ones, and in looking after the general welfare and health of cats on the streets.

The Waxing Warrior fundraising event will take place at 6pm Thursday, 31st March 2011 at Dragonfly’s newest retreat in Hong Kong at W Place, 52 Wyndham Street, Central. Ten Waxing Warriors will each take turns to have their chest hair waxed by the skillfully trained waxing technicians that could minimize their pain. Each Waxing Warrior will be a fundraiser as they will carry the sponsors - normally their friends, colleagues and family who are also invited to witness the Warrior’s before and after comparison.

Dragonfly@Wyndham will sponsor each warrior a HK$1,000 worth of coupons for massages, waxing, facial and nail care services. The Waxing Warrior who raises the most funds will also win an amazing prize - flight and hotel to Shanghai and spa treatments at one of Dragonfly’s many branches in Shanghai.

The reception and announcement will take place at W52 Italian Restaurant and Bar at W Place where friends, families and media can mingle with snacks and drinks in the contemporary atmosphere of the drinking lounge.
