Launch of IDOX’s New Bid Writing Workshops

Looking to secure funding but needing help with writing applications? Idox Information Solutions has launched its new Bid Writing Workshops to help those in need of submitting successful bids.

London, United Kingdom, April 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- At a time when organisations across the board attempt to identify funding to make up for the shortfall in their own budgets, Idox Information Solutions is offering a helping hand to funding practitioners in the form of bid writing workshops.

The training courses are designed to provide delegates with practical bid writing techniques, enabling them to produce focused proposals, increase their success rates and win new resources for their organisation. They are ideal for staff from public and not-for-profit organisations who are expected to write funding applications as part of their job role. Delegates are encouraged to bring along funding applications they are working on, or bids that have previously been submitted by their organisation for use in the practical elements of the day.

This new course is being introduced at a rate of £175 plus VAT per person, which includes lunch and light refreshments during the day and covers the costs of course material.

The next course will take place on Tuesday, 12 April at Idox HQ in London (nearest tube is London Blackfriars).

Course content includes: exploring the key principles of successful bid writing; effective writing styles; understanding funder motivations and values; putting together benefit statements; presenting a case for funding through an effective proposal structure; application forms; proposal review – editing and proofreading; and bid checklists.
