SMART Turbine Inc. Enters Business Plan Competition

Rohnert Park, CA, April 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster is at it again. Holding the 2011 business plan competition. The timing is just right for SMART Turbine Inc. to participate.

"Having experience with the SMBC in the SPROUT program has been a significant help for SMART Turbine Inc.," according to Brad Hunter, the inventor of the SMART Turbine.

Initially, the applicants who wish to compete needed to turn in an executive summary which would be used to select the competitors. SMART Turbine Inc. was selected from 35 total entries to participate. A selection committee at SMBC was required to choose the 24 applicants that they felt fit the competition guidelines.

Brad Hunter says, "We are honored to be included and of course hope we win." There is a cash prize for the winning company.

SMART Turbine Inc. plans to produce the most cost effective wind turbine for lowering electric bills. Currently, production channels are primed, a prototype is built and preliminary statistics from the prototype reflect a product that anyone in a windy location can use, regardless of lot size or zoning requirements.
