Easter Fun at Derby College's Food Hub

Derby College's Food Hub at Broomfield Hall is hosting a number of childrens' activities this Easter.

Derby, United Kingdom, April 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Derby College's Food Hub at Broomfield Hall is holding a series of Easter activities for young families to encourage them to become interested in growing their own produce.

Activities start on Saturday April 16 with a daily Easter trail through Broomfield’s grounds.

Weekday activities will include making Easter baskets and bunny grass heads, plant a salad pot activities, and a Ranger Adventure, including a woodland scavenger hunt and tour around the small animal centre on site.

Then on Thursday April 28 there will also be Royal Wedding planting and craft activities to mark the occasion the following day.

The Food Hub, which also includes a café and shop featuring locally-grown and made produce including Easter eggs and bunnies, is open every day between 10am and 4pm except April 22, 25, 26 and 29.
