Computer Recycling and Paper Shredding to Support Memorial Assistance Ministries

Shred old documents, recycle out of date computer equipment.

Houston, TX, April 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Computer Recycling and Paper Shredding Day will take place Saturday, April 16, 2011 in the MAM parking lot (1625 Blalock) from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. For a minimum $10 donation, clients can clean out their houses and/or garages, and support a cause. 100% of all donations support MAM programs.

Shred old documents, recycle out of date computer equipment; guests just need to roll down the car window, and get a receipt in exchange for donations. MAM staff and volunteers will unload any items to be shredded or recycled.

All documents will be shredded securely on site. Shredding Certificates provided upon request. Computer hard drives will be wiped clean during the recycling process. Texas Security Shredding and Houston Computer Recycling will be onsite providing the services.

Types of equipment accepted at this event: Computers, monitors, CPUs, servers, keyboards, laptops, networking, IT, phones (office and cell), any wire, printers, fax machines, scanners, PDAs, circuit boards of any kind, etc. and many unusual types of electronic and communications equipment.

Types of equipment not accepted at this event: Full-sized office copiers, home appliances, medical equipment, microwave ovens, CRT televisions, car batteries.

For those who need another way to "go green," the MAM Resale Store will be open and accepting their usual donations as well.
