Jacksonville, FL, April 14, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Three Bears Hair Bows wants to help raise Autism Awareness. Autism is a disorder of neural development characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. The number of cases of autism has dramatically increased in the 90's and 2000's. The American Academy of Pediatrics announced in October, 2009, that one out of 91 children is being diagnosed with autism today and 1 out of 58 boys are affected.
As moms, the owners of Three Bears Hair Bows have seen the struggles that parents with autistic children go through and want to give back. During the month of April, Three Bears Hair Bows will donate 10% of sales to raise autism awareness. The company will donate to the Jessica Green Foundation via the Ride with Me for Autism.
Ten percent of every purchase made at www.threebearshairbows.com during the month of April will be donated.
