The maker of SleepPhones, comfortable headphones for sleeping, and RunPhones, unique performance headphones for active people, is an environmentally friendly company in many ways.
The fleece headband for RunPhones and SleepPhones is made of 88-100 percent recycled materials. All of the electronics in SleepPhones and RunPhones are RoHS compliant, which means they are free of lead and other dangerous heavy metals.
Beyond the products, AcousticSheep focuses on other ways to be environmentally responsible, including being powered by 100 percent wind energy. Also, no styrofoam packing peanuts are used in shipping, and AcousticSheep reuses plastic packing balloons, bubbles, and boxes. Manufacturing and office waste is either recycled or reused. In addition, they use the carbon-neutral web hosting company DreamHost.
