My Mad Methods Workout Application Downloaded 1,000 Times Within 3 Weeks

Fullerton, CA, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- My Mad Methods has launched the first version of the My Mad Methods Workout App for the iPhone. The new application was created to give My Mad Methods Members the ability to view kettlebell, sandbag, and bodyweight workouts anytime, anywhere from their Apple iPhones. Between March 22, 2011 and April 12, 2011, the application was downloaded over 1,000 times.

“This free version of the My Mad Methods Workout Application was intended to allow unconventional trainers and trainees to quickly view each workout,” said Mark de Grasse, owner of My Mad Methods and developer of the My Mad Methods Workout Application. “While it’s very simple, it will help people see dozens of workouts while they’re at the gym, park, beach, or wherever they chose to exercise.”

The My Mad Methods Workout Application simply lists the exercises, sets, and reps of each exercise, with an option to open the more detailed content from the website, including workout details like difficulty level, body parts used and equipment needed, a step-by-step video tutorial, and the information about the trainer who created the workout.

The application also allows users to quickly send comments and photos to My Mad Methods. The content on the My Mad Methods Workout Application is updated whenever the website is, meaning that there are new articles, workouts, and My Mad Methods news every week. The application can be downloaded for free at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-mad-methods-workout-app/id424128544?mt=8.

The first update of the My Mad Methods Workout Application is planned for June 30, 2011, and will include expanded interactivity, including the ability to rate and comment on each workout. There will also be a new tab listing complete schedules for specific workout plans.

An Android version of the My Mad Methods Application is also being developed and should be released by mid-May 2011.

My Mad Methods also has plans for a paid version of the My Mad Methods Workout Application which will include an Interval Timer and the ability to quickly and easily create new workouts from the My Mad Methods Exercise Database by selecting the time, equipment, and difficulty desired. The paid version will also be free of advertisements. A release date for the paid version of the My Mad Methods Workout Application has not yet been set.

“While we have plans for a much more capable application, we hope that people will find this free version useful,” said Mark de Grasse. “All aspects of the My Mad Methods company, including the magazine, website, and DVD productions continue to develop at an accelerating pace, we believe that the My Mad Methods Workout Application is another step in the right direction.”
