Gala Celebrating Women’s Accomplishments from then ‘til now

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the Susan B. Anthony Recovery Center present the 3rd Annual “100 Outstanding Women of Broward County” on Thursday, May 12th, 2011 beginning at 5:00pm at The Signature Grand in Davie, Florida. The “100 Outstanding Women of Broward County” gala will bring the Broward community together to celebrate how far women have come in leadership roles in the business, community and philanthropic fields.

Highlights from the evening’s gala will include a sold out, “who’s who” audience of 1,000 people coming together to celebrate and honor one hundred outstanding women leaders in the Broward community. The recognition gala dinner begins with an extended social cocktail hour, combined with silent auction; then dinner follows with a live auction and high end fashion show by well known, Miami based fashion designer Rene Ruiz. Rene Ruiz Couture designs ready to wear, wedding dresses and custom couture, and is collected by celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Kimora Lee Simmons. Prestigious community leaders set to be in attendance include Dawn Stagliano, Marcia Barry-Smith, Polly Wilkie, Marge Osceola, Kimarie Stratos, Gale Butler and Linda Von Allmen.

The Signature Grand is located at 6900 State Road 84, Davie, Florida. The event begins at 5:00pm and runs until 10:00pm.

All the benefits from this special event, “100 Outstanding Women of Broward County” recognizing women’s accomplishments will benefit the missions of Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County and the Susan B Anthony Recovery Center.

The Susan B Anthony Recovery Center is the only residential treatment program in Broward County that houses mothers with their children while providing the intensive services needed to “Stop The Cycle” of family dysfunction and substance addiction. SBARC addresses the special issues that women face while in recovery from the disease of substance addiction while keeping the family intact and out of the foster care system.
