Washington, DC, May 03, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Kacie Crisp Explored How to Enhance Marriages with Key Do's and Don'ts.

As Donna Marie Thompson's special guest on the Bouncing Back Now show on the Real Coaching Radio TV Network, Dr. Kacie Crisp, author of “The Little Black Book of Relationships,” highlighted key do's and don'ts to solidify marriages and other long-term romantic relationships.

Dr. Crisp has been healing minds and bodies as a counselor, chiropractor, and relationship coach for her entire adult life. Now, she and her husband conduct informative teleclasses on how to stay married and happy.

For the don'ts, Dr. Crisp advises that: "We should not blame our spouse – placing blame is a dead-end game. I also do not advocate arguing; it seems to be an effort solely to prove that our point of view is right. The third key don't is to react with negative energy before you are ready to frame a moderated response; slippery slope here."

For the do's, Dr. Crisp guides that: "Your spouse's opinion is only a point a view. Surely they are entitled to their opinion – and there is no requirement that you agree. So just listen and assess it without judging. You don't need to take it on if it does not align with your views or values. The second 'do' is to be present – to be in the now. It is key to avoid the perilous fast forward – especially for women. On the first date, don't picture where you will be vacationing together this season, instead take it slow and just be – right here and right now. Learn and explore in the now; don't leap ahead. The third 'do' is to focus on who you are with – the essence of them as they actually are – not who you wish they were or who you hope to mold them to be."

As a final message, Dr Crisp emphasized that: "There are many healing modalities; I combine three to solve relationship problems with clients."

Dr. Thompson added that: "When one tool or technique does not appeal to you, move on to another that is more aligned with your healing process. Seek out healers that resonate with you and that raise your energy level because that is where your power lies. I use the powerful Energy Leadership Index to assess a client's default energy response to fling open windows and bring needed clarity into unexplained behaviors and reactions; this begins the healing."
