Potomac Edison Makes Commitment to Diversity

Potomac Edison Company partners with The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).

Akron, OH, May 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) is pleased to announce that Potomac Edison Company has joined the organization as a corporate partner.

Potomac Edison joins more than 150 partnering corporations and public entities who seek to increase diversity in the legal field through NAMWOLF’s Corporate and Public Entity Partnering Program (CPEPP). Partnering organizations set a goal of spending 5% of their outside legal budget on minority and women-owned (M/WBE) law firms and NAMWOLF provides the resources to help them achieve that goal.

Since 2001, NAMWOLF has been a bridge between corporate legal departments and M/WBE law firms. NAMWOLF is highly regarded in the profession for its vetting process of outside firms who undergo an extensive application and screening process to ensure they are of the highest quality. With access to NAMWOLF’s directory of law firms, corporations can select superior M/WBE law firms by area of practice and geographic location.

A list of NAMWOLF’s law firm members and corporate partners can be found at www.namwolf.org.
