)-- “After normal business hours” is a foreign concept to Synergy HomeCare. Synergy provides in-home, non-medical care on any day at any hour, catering to their clients when they are needed the most, not just when it is convenient. This above-and-beyond philosophy has not gone unnoticed. In fact, Synergy HomeCare was just ranked number three in Franchise Business Review’s second-annual Franchise 50 Awards.
The Franchise 50 Awards are an annual ranking of franchise companies by their level of franchisee satisfaction. The awards recognize the Top 50 franchise companies with the highest levels of overall franchisee satisfaction, as well as Best in Category and Honorable Mention awards in 16 industry categories.
For a prospective franchise buyer, the Franchise 50 is perhaps the most important resource to consider when deciding which company to invest in. The Franchise Business Review, a market research firm, compiles the survey responses from thousands of franchisees across the country. Each survey consists of 40 questions: the first 20 are specific to the franchisees’ satisfaction with their franchise system and the second 20 focus on market area, business lifestyle, demographic and personal skills questions. Since these answers are coming from actual franchisees, potential investors get a first-hand, unbiased look at each company. Companies were ranked based on a formula taking into account each company’s average survey scores, system size and rate of franchisee participation.
“The Franchise 50 Awards are like the People’s Choice Awards of franchising,” said Franchise Business Review founder and president Eric Stites. “Franchisee satisfaction and success is where the rubber meets the road in every franchise system. The Franchise 50 Awards are so important because it’s not us saying these companies are great, it’s their own franchisees – the real franchise experts.”
Synergy HomeCare, which began franchising in 2005, provides high-quality, non-medical home care to people in their homes. Caregivers are available on an hourly, daily, weekly or 24/7 basis, 365 days per year to seniors, the convalescing or disabled and anyone else who needs help with daily activities.
Potential clients can call any time of the day or night to request a caregiver and Synergy HomeCare responds. The company has spent years in the creation, development and application of its “quick-response” service. Synergy HomeCare’s proven recruitment system provides for the constant availability of caregivers.
With 90 percent of their franchisees responding, Synergy HomeCare scored exemplary marks in the five main categories: overall satisfaction, financial opportunity, franchisor relationship, franchise system, and training and support. Though inclusion in the Franchise 50 Awards is an honor in and of itself, Synergy HomeCare hopes to not only make the list again next year but to improve upon their current standing.
