)-- The Martineau Collective, a full service independent creative boutique developed under a new agency model built around the concept of Creative Altruism in advertising and the use of affiliate shops with varied specialties to facilitate each project, announced that it has received two Gold Fort Lauderdale Addy awards and one Best of Interactive, for their work on the City of Inglewood’s Waste Management recycling Campaign and the Billups Worldwide web site respectively. Organized by the Advertising Federation of Greater Fort Lauderdale, the ADDY Awards highlight the best creative work being produced in Fort Lauderdale.
The Fort Lauderdale Addy Awards is the first step towards winning at the world’s largest advertising competition, the Addy Awards, organized by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The Martineau Collective was recognized alongside top Fort Lauderdale agencies like Starmark/MARK USA, Marketing Magic, The Meridian Group and Pinpoint Design + Communications. “It’s thrilling to be recognized as one of Fort Lauderdale’s best in terms of creative talent with my newly formed agency, especially as its our first foray into the local Award show – I’m excited to see how we match up in the District competition in May and am enthusiastic about our prospects of going all the way to the national awards in Louisville,” said Andrew Martineau, President and chief creative altruist of The Martineau Collective.
The Billups Worldwide web site was developed to be a virtual representation of what Billups Worldwide can do for agency’s clients in the real world; it is a mixture of Second Life, SoFlow and YouTube all wrapped into one. Visitors are able to live in a virtual city with many possibilities for outdoor advertising being prominently displayed, IM friends and co-workers in the network, upload sample creative onto various outdoor media's in real time among other revolutionary bells and whistles.
