Shery Levitt Education Foundation Charity Event

Beverly Hills, CA, March 13, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Annual Shery Levitt Educational Foundation is proud to announce March 24th as the date of the 2007 gala event. This year’s theme, “Music of the Night”, is an evening of musical celebration, complete with live performances by national recording artists, as well as an after party disco and performances by local school children.

Through the generosity of several individuals within the sports and entertainment Industries; the live and silent auction will feature basketball lessons with Laker’s assistant coach Kurt Rambis, 2 hours play time at the Staples Center and a Laker Girl birthday party. Other featured items include Carmel Valley vineyard trips, and all expense paid week vacation in Brazil. 

As the principal annual fundraising effort of the SLEF, this support goes directly to the students who attend any one of amazing schools designed by Shery Levitt. This nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization provides educational opportunities to students whose lives have taken a tragic turn. Whether it is the death of a parent, the loss of financial resources or other misfortunes, the Foundation serves as a lifeline to many students and families in their time of need.

Now in its fourth year – the Foundation has provided educational assistance for many students. Last year alone; the event raised funds allowing these students to continue their education.

Luke Walton, Kobe Bryant, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Brian Cook, Luke Perry, Phil Jackson, Jeanie Buss. This year’s Master of Ceremonies will be John Ireland of KCAL 9, and confirmed performers include Brian McKnight, Boys II Men, Stephen Stills (Crosby Stills & Nash), & The Jeri Curl.
