Houston, TX, May 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The International Watch and Jewelry Guild (IWJG) would like to announce "Extravaganza 2011," to be held on May 30th and 31st at the exciting Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be the largest Las Vegas show in 2011, for IWJG members and guests in the organization’s 25-year history.

This prestigious IWJG show, exclusively for members and guests, has reached the highest level of attendee and exhibitor reservations in the shortest time period on record for the organization.

Joseph P. Nelson, Executive Director of the International Watch and Jewelry Guild said, "Our registrations have set consecutive attendance records for all of our shows since September 2010. Given that fact, Las Vegas was a pleasant surprise for our staff.

"We believe a combination of factors contributed, including the improving economy, strong international dealer participation, the quality of our members and their inventories, plus the excitement of Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino as our host hotel and event site. It just doesn’t get any better than this if you are in the watch and jewelry business."

"We are excited to be the host event site for the IWJG’s Extravaganza 2011," said Michael Massari, Vice President of Meeting Sales and Operations for Las Vegas Meetings by Caesars Entertainment. "Las Vegas is a great city for events and increasing attendance and we are confident that Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will prove to be the perfect location for such an amazing event."
