Medford, NJ, May 22, 2011 --(PR.com
)-- Lisa Purul, General Manager of iCoachMultiSport, recognizes the increased popularity of multisport. “Multisport provides for a healthy lifestyle as well as an outlet for competition. That combination is very appealing and has drawn many new athletes into triathlons and duathlons,” Purul reports. “At the same time, people just entering a sport such as triathlon have many unanswered questions and don’t understand all the ins and outs of competing in the sport.”
To support these beginning triathletes, iCoachMultiSport is conducting their free triathlon clinic at Birchwood Lakes Beach located in Medford, NJ at 3pm on Sunday, June 12, 2011. “We decided to conduct the clinic at Birchwood Lakes Beach because it provides such a nice venue not only for open water swimming, but also for a transition area from the swim to bike, and from bike to run. In fact, Birchwood Lakes is hosting a sprint triathlon on Saturday, July 2, 2011,” explains Purul. The address for Birchwood Lakes Beach is 47 S. Lakeside Drive West, Medford, NJ 08055.
Anyone can attend and all attendees should bring a Bike, Helmet, Towel, Swimsuit, Running Shoes and, according to Lisa Purul, a “Great Attitude!!” Purul added, “Our goal is to provide first time and beginner triathletes with useful information that will serve several purposes. It will help remove some of the mystery behind competing in triathlons and provide more confidence to people heading into their first competition. It will also provide useful tips and instructional information that will help the beginner triathletes perform better and have a better overall experience. We want to make sure everyone has a safe and positive experience their first time out – that is what’s important!”
